This is the image for the news article titled December 2017 Employee SpotlightIt is with great pleasure that we recognize Rhonda Parker as the DHS/DMS Activities Spotlight Employee.  Rhonda is currently the Activities Secretary at Douglas Middle School.  Prior to holding this position, Rhonda was a paraprofessional at Douglas Primary School.  Rhonda joined the DMS team in January of 2017.  She has been a wonderful addition to our staff and plays and integral role in the day to day activities within the DMS Activities Department.

Rhonda is a positive presence in the DMS office.  She is quick to greet staff, students, and community members with a smile and welcoming attitude.  She has developed a positive relationship with various stakeholders and consistently has students come into her office every day to have a conversation about sports, events, or life in general.  It is evident that Rhonda not only takes her job seriously, but she is willing to go above and beyond her duties to serve as an adult advocate for a number of our students.

Rhonda can be found at most sporting events as well.  She is extremely efficient at keeping all paperwork organized regarding student athletes, officials, and coaches.  Rhonda is always professional and the coaches, players, and officials that interact with her admire her hospitality and friendly personality.  She does a great deal of work “behind the scenes” that greatly factors into the success of any tournaments, games, or meets that DMS hosts.

The staff, students, and parents of DMS would like to thank you for all that you do!  Keep up the great work!
