Congratulations to the D.H.S musicians selected to perform in the 2013 All State Choir or Band. Cally Collins, Ty Etchemendy, Gracie Hancock, Megan Hansen, and Christopher Harris were selected for the Wyoming All State Choir, and Lesli Stewart was selected for the Band. The students will rehearse January 21st and 22nd, and perform in concertthe evening of Tuesday, January 22nd. The rehearsals and performances will be in Gillette, WY. Congratulations to all.

Outstanding music students from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming have received top honors by being selected to participate in one of the 2013 NAjME All-Northwest performing groups. TThe students will join over one thousand other outstanding high school student musicians in this gala event.

NAfME All-Northwest high school bands, orchestras, and choirs will meet in Portland, Oregon February 14-17. They will rehearse and perfrom in concert under the direction of world-renowned conductors. These All-Northwest musicianswere selected through audtitions to participate in this event, which is managed by the Washington Music Educators Association.
