|
Toni Millhone is a 30 year veteran of the Converse County School District. When Toni began her career in 1978, she was only one of two resource teachers in the elementary schools. Over the years, Toni has served as a regular education classroom teacher, intensive education teacher and a resource room teacher.
Toni is dedicated to her students and to district goals. She is always professional and gives priority to the needs of her students and the district. Toni is a person who is reliable; she is hard working and goes beyond what is asked of her. Toni is one of those people who is always working quietly in the background, and stepping up to help. She is highly respected by her peers. As a mentor to many different teachers, she has freely shared her knowledge and experience in the special education field. As a colleague, she is kind and compassionate, and never causes hard feelings among her peers. She has great rapport with parents and students alike. She is dependable and loyal to the district. We are honored to place Toni Millhone, Douglas Intermediate School Resource Teacher, in the spotlight.
